Love is a powerful force in the human experience. Countless songs, movies, books, poems, wedding vows, eulogies, greeting cards and advertisements have been created to try to capture the magic of love. The image for this month’s newsletter above shows that recent data responses identified 27 different types of love felt in varying degrees and places within our bodies, not just in the heart space. What could this possibly mean for our well-being, outlook on life, and the future of humankind? To learn more about the survey results go here Feelthelove. We could sure use more love on the planet now. To contrast with this love theme, I discovered an interesting “brief” history of hell – what is it and where is it? Where did the concept of hell originate? It could be argued that certain parts of the planet are experiencing a version of it right now. (Surprisingly, I recently learned that there are 32 different wars going on right now on Planet Earth. We just don’t hear about most of them). CARD #1- YOUR RECENT PAST – 9 OF WANDS: Wow – you have been fighting the good fight for a while. But you have not been alone. You have had support along the way, and while you may have sustained some “scars and wounds,” you’ve emerged a stronger, wiser, more enlightened person because of this battle. CARD #2 – YOUR NEW BEGINNING-THE FOOL: After the warrior season described above, you have taken a leap of faith into the void, the great unknown. You have released a lot (if not all) of heavy “stuff” you had been carrying around for a long time, figuratively and literally. You have lightened your load considerably and are moving on even though you are unsure of where you are headed. It’s a new beginning and you are full of anticipation and eagerness about what lies ahead. Trust the process. It’s an innocent and almost child-like energy of discovery and belief in limitless potential. You are stopping to smell all the roses now. Enjoy the journey!
CARD #3 – YOUR POWER – THE MAGICIAN: The energy of this card is all about bringing potential into reality, about exploring unlimited possibilities and obtaining excellent results. The Magician has all the tools (intellectual, emotional, spiritual, physical) at his/her fingertips, ready to create, to amaze, to dazzle. He/she is a conduit between the spiritual/cosmic and the material/physical world. A master manifester. There is prosperity and purity here. There is magic and awe factor. CARD #4 – YOUR CHALLENGE – 5 OF WANDS: The energy of this card is one of change, perhaps conflict, tension, in a group. It could also refer to many voices or opinions coming at you, so much “noise” that you can’t really focus on any one point of view very well or for long. You are showing yourself here as the leader or focal point of the seeming disharmony or discord among others. Change and transformation are here, so discord and confusion aren’t going to stop it. Going with the flow will ease the process along. Be open/allowing to hearing a variety of ideas or views which may not line up with your own but be sure to listen to the guidance of your own heart and intuition. It will always steer you in the best way forward for you.
