A Powerful New Phase

April blasts in on day one with the first of two new moons in the same month, the promise of an upcoming solar eclipse, which starts off the eclipse season, and a beautiful full Pink Moon in Libra on the 16th.  This month is all about a powerful new phase as we move into the second quarter of this self-love, self-care, and personal growth year.  April is prime time for new beginnings, healing, and clearing any shadow energies we’ve been holding onto for way too long.

By now you must know we’re all about well-being at Power Up Your Woo Woo.  Here’s a chicken or egg question to get us going on this month’s recommendations:  which comes first, success or happiness?  A new study surveying a million people enlightens and inspires us to make some positive changes.  Thanks to Dale Dermott for sharing  Success and Happiness.   My friend Tia who has lived in Japan, discovered this great find for a holiday getaway near Vancouver.  Peaceful, beautiful and something different!  A great place to get your zen on.  Ryokan: Kitoki Inn on Bowen Island.  Right now I’m reading and loving The Science of Happily Ever After: What Really Matters in the Quest for Enduring Love by Ty Tashiro, PhD.  It’s part of the ongoing research for my next book which is morphing into a guide for divorce recovery (I certainly have plenty of experience with that topic!)  The Science of Happily Ever After.  Finally, I’d like to give a shout-out to The Tarot Guild for all the Tarot fans out there.  It’s a friendly group with lots of ongoing courses, chat sessions, and social digital encounters all around the topic of Tarot https://thetarotguild.com/.

Power Up Your Woo Woo is available on Kobo, Apple, Ingram Spark, Google Play, Audible, and Barnes & Noble to name a few. And of course, Amazon. There are five versions: paperback, hardback, e-book, audio book and the journal that goes along with the book. THANK YOU again if you have already left a review on Amazon (or elsewhere) for ANY version of the book or journal. I do so APPRECIATE it. Follow this link to leave your honest review on Amazon : ReviewPowerUpYourWooWoo.  And please feel free to share the link for my fun and feisty Tarot Empowerment Quiz.

TAROT AND ORACLE CARDS FOR APRIL, 2022

1.     THE PAGE OF CUPS – Creativity, a new and unexpected opportunity especially in the creative and/or emotional realms.  This card is all about opening up to explore new options you’ve been dreaming about, even if they seem far-fetched or out of reach.  Have some fun learning something new. Look for signs and synchronicities which point you toward people and experiences that line up with your most heart-felt interests. Go there and do those things!

2.     THE FOOL – Time to get in touch with your inner child, lose all the unnecessary baggage, and set out on an adventure par excellence.  No fears or anxieties allowed on this journey!  Laugh more and feel the freedom.  Trust the Universe always to love and support you along the way. You are the star of this movie.  Be sure to make it as much fun as possible.

3.     THE 8 OF SWORDS – Got anxiety?  Got fear?  Feeling a big hemmed in by current circumstances?  This card says, if so, you are only as trapped as your own negative, limiting thoughts imagine.  Stop the negative momentum.  You have the resources and the power to rip off this metaphorical blindfold, break free of the bindings and walk away from the swords.  Whatever is causing you angst is probably a too-comfortable and habitual way of viewing a situation. This card encourages you to shake things up.  See the possibility of everything working out for you in the best possible ways. Focus on all good details in your life. Appreciation.

4.     THE HAPPINESS AND DREAMER EMPOWERMENT CARDS – What makes you happy?  Do more of that.  Do a journal entry about your long-forgotten dreams.  Where do you want to go?  Whom would you like to meet?  What are some projects you would like to pursue?  Writing things down makes your thoughts visible to you and is actually a way of manifesting a thought into the physical.

May you always walk in the remembrance of who you truly are. And may you never lose your song.
