YOUR JULY, 2021 WOO WOO NEWSLETTER

Detach yourself from the outcome; focus on the learning.

-Ryan Levesque

This month I am excited to share info about two unusual travel experiences in Texas.  I have not visited either one YET, but for sure, they are both on my short list of places to go in the near future.  Basecamp Terlingua enjoys views of the Chisos Mountains and is very near to the astonishing Big Bend National Park.  At BT, you can stay in a bubble, a tipi, a tent, or a casita – all offer a different experience under the dark night skies according to the website – a perfect place to watch meteor showers and track UFOs.  And if you like the sound of staying in a handmade yurt with over 3,000 years of Mongolian tradition behind the design, check out Yurtopia in Wimberley.  Wimberley itself is a gem in the Texas Hill Country, close to wineries, breweries, live music venues, excellent dining, and fun shopping choices.   For either one of these, I’m thinking go when there’s a full moon and in a cooler month (definitely not August)!  My immediate travel plans include a week at Lake Tahoe mid-July, but these two Texas experiences are in the cards down the road!  Links for both provided below.

Power Up Your Woo Woo News:  We’re on Audible now for audio book lovers.  You can even get an audio book free if you sign up for an Audible membership. You will still see the other four options/versions of the book on Amazon and other vendors.    In the meantime, THANK YOU again if you have left a review on Amazon for ANY version of the book or journal.  I do so APPRECIATE it, and please, if you still need to, you can follow this link to leave your honest review of the paperback, E-book, hardback, audiobook, or journal  : ReviewPowerUpYourWooWoo.  Reviews make the Amazon world go round!

Power Up Your Online Dating Savvy is in the planning/outlining stages, and will obviously be a complete departure from the first book, but such is life and experience.  There will be an instructional focus in each chapter such as how to spot a romance catfisher, or ways to stay safe with online dating.  But there will also be actual messages from real suitors based on my experiences over the last soon-to-be year, and a story (mostly true 😊) in each chapter of a real encounter along the way to meeting my handsome prince.  Of course, the names will be changed to protect the guilty and innocent, and no, this is not going to be a “man-bashing-fest.” My goal is to teach, entertain, inspire, and hopefully help other people who are out there navigating the crazy waters of online dating. Stay tuned for more info on this exciting book!

July Woo Woo Tarot and Oracle Card Layout

  1.  Three of Wands – This card is all about embracing our vision of all that we dream of accomplishing and dreaming BIG. When we see the three of wands come up in a reading, we are moving and grooving, getting things done. But not just things in general, important and life-enhancing things.  We are able to see possible challenges ahead and make a plan to deal with them.   Important that we stay focused on our own Highest Good and make sure that all we are doing lines up with our best. This card also can relate to travel, especially overseas, so where are we going? I’ll take the Lotus Suite, 14-day cruise to Tahiti – Frette linens, crystal and silver service, fresh flowers daily, private deck with hot tub…anchors away!

  2. The Chariot – Will power, self-discipline, inspired action.  The Chariot speaks to boldly pursuing our goals and quests.  Nothing wimpy about the effort projected by this card. We don’t let anyone or anything distract us from pursuing our own path/vision/dreams.  We keep our boundaries firmly in place and stay focused.  We are bold, brave, and confident!  We are succeeding!  Yay!  And this card also comes with a travel vibe – but this time instead of over-the-water travel, it’s more about jumping into our tricked-out RV and visiting all the national parks we haven’t yet seen.

  3. The Page of Cups – A new idea? A new opportunity?  A new relationship? When the Page of Cups presents himself to us, it’s all about tapping in to our creative muses, having an open mind and being curious.  Having an open, child-like sense of adventure and excitement about what the Universe is suggesting to us.  Infinite possibilities, what-if thinking.  Trusting our intuition and following the trail of breadcrumbs, signs and synchronicities that lead us to magic and wonderment.  Are you ready?  Come on - get in line right next to me!

  4. Temperance – And now we have a completely different type of energy.  This card invites us to do whatever we need to do to regain a sense of calm, balance and tapping in to the diverse people and resources to which we have access.  The Temperance card invites us to blend, mix, combine elements in such a way as to create something new and superior to the individual components themselves.  Where in our lives are things a little out of whack?  Are we over-thinking something?  Working too hard in one particular area with little or no results?  Feeling stuck in some aspect of our lives or relationships?  Not taking time for self-care?  This card says, stop and look, reflect and realign.  Rebalance.  Look for ways to slow things down and make sure you are not mindlessly rushing from one activity to the next.  There is an aspect of higher learning or following a mentor here.  Perhaps there is a class/course you would like to take or a person/mentor with whom you need to reconnect.

  5. Confidence and Cycles Oracle Cards – Our oracle cards for July align well with the messages and guidance we received in our Tarot cards. CONFIDENCE speaks to our willingness to love ourselves, to face our fears and move ahead, to take the purposeful risks that will move us toward our goals, dreams and best lives. Alignment with our Highest Good is always important.

CYCLES reminds us that nothing stays the same forever. People evolve, circumstances change, opportunities come and go.  How we respond to all of these and how we choose to act alters our reality and our destiny.  As suggested by the quote at the top of the newsletter, we must be willing to detach ourselves from particular outcomes and focus on the process and learning we are experiencing.  This is not always easy to do.  Surrendering to the Universe, knowing that we are being taken care of and watched over and that all of our experiences are exactly what we need in order to evolve takes trust and faith.  Not always easy, but always possible.
